Social Responsibility

In our journey towards environmental, social, and corporate governance, we have aligned our efforts to be more responsible towards the environment, our staff, and the localities around us. We have set up goals toward our mission to be diverse and inclusive.

We hope to be a pioneer in the ESG movement in the fashion industry in India and we have taken the appropriate steps toward this goal. From conducting health awareness workshops to upskilling seminars, Frendi Fashions is also evaluating sustainable fashion and use of recycled material.

We have taken action in three areas – women empowerment, sustainability, and recycle-reuse.

Women Empowerment

We strive to continuously improve our facilities to empower our women workforce, which is currently 80% of our total employees. Some of our benefits for women employees include:

Sustainability

Our team at Frendi Fashions is mindful of our business impact on the environment. We are taking all the necessary steps to ensure we reduce our carbon footprint. We are actively researching sustainable materials in our efforts to be environmentally conscious.

We are reviewing and auditing our products, processes, and activities with an aim to achieve a carton-neutral business that is built on integrity and equality.

We envision that Frendi Fashions will be able to fully support sustainable fashion brands in their endeavour to be ecologically and socially responsible.

Recycle & Reuse

We are testing and using recycled and upcycled fabrics to create garments across all categories. The recycled fashion industry is booming, and we are playing an active part in it, while continuously improving our efforts in R&D.

We have improved our processes to ensure minimum wastage of fabric with strict measurement controls in place. As a staff-led initiative, we are extremely proud of our team's efforts in ensuring all departments comply with these new policies.
